Refund Policy

This policy covers refunds for Citerank purchases. It works differently depending on where you bought your plan, because the two purchase paths are billed by two different companies. Find your purchase path below.

1. If you purchased a lifetime deal through AppSumo

Your purchase is governed entirely by AppSumo's own refund policy, not by us. AppSumo processes the transaction, holds your payment, and handles the refund if you request one. We never see or touch your payment details for an AppSumo purchase.

To request a refund on an AppSumo-purchased license, use AppSumo's refund request process from your AppSumo account, within the window AppSumo's policy allows. Once AppSumo processes a refund on their end, they notify us automatically and we deactivate the associated Citerank license the same day. You do not need to contact us to complete an AppSumo refund, though we're glad to help if you have trouble.

2. If you subscribed directly through Citerank (billed by LemonSqueezy)

First subscription, within 14 days: If you are on your first paid subscription to Citerank and it has been 14 days or less since your initial charge, contact us and we will issue a full refund and cancel the subscription, no questions asked.

After the first 14 days, or on renewal charges: Subscription charges are non-refundable once the 14-day window has passed, including renewal charges for subsequent billing periods. You can cancel at any time to stop future charges; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access to paid features through the end of that period. Exceptions: We review billing errors, duplicate charges, and cases where the Service was materially unavailable to you, on a case-by-case basis. Email us and we will make it right.

3. How refunds are issued

Refunds are returned to the original payment method through the original payment processor (LemonSqueezy or AppSumo). Processing time depends on your bank or card issuer and is typically 5 to 10 business days after the refund is issued.
